 This trial set contains three Photoshop Scripts.

The Script is applied to your image from the Photoshop File menu
File >> Scripts >> Browse... and select the script from the folder you've saved them in. |

 What are the differences between the free trial version of the effect and the actual purchased Action or Script effect?
The trial versions will scale the image to 900 pixels, so your images should be at least, or close to 900 pixels. Smaller images will be enlarged and may show blurring and image noise. Other than that, the resulting image will show you how the actual Action will make your images appear.

The scripts are compatible with the standard installed filters and layer commands of Photoshop CS, CS2 and through CS5. The Pencil Pixels Actions are best suited for web and screen size art.
Like any plugin or action from any company, images that are blurred, contain a lot of image noise or are very dark and extremely low in contrast, will yield poor results. Keep that in mind.
These trial PencilPixels scripts are available for use on Macintosh or Windows versions of Photoshop.
Note: Photoshop scripts use the file extension .JSX If you are using and older Operating System or an older version of Photoshop, you may have to change the extension to .JS for it to be recognized. |

Why Scripts?
We are moving toward developing all our effects, new and old, to scripts instead of actions. We are finding that the scripting method allows us more control over the image, which yields better results. Newer versions of operating systems with Photoshop are not supporting Droplets as much as scripting. Also it will be possible to use scripts in Elements and future versions and variations of the Photoshop App. |
